Upcoming Retreats

We still have some space left for the following:

  • John Strydom's retreat, which looks at personality types and how these govern our habitual patters.
  • Rene Stevenson's retreat for women, which looks at the art of savouring life in busyness.
  • Jennifer Woodhull, a student of Pema Chodron, will lead the Easter retreat which deals with compassion.

New Residents

We have a new resident. Wendy left at the end of January and now Caroline Matshele has joined us as cook. She has taken a year off life in the corporate sector to work on her yoga and deepen her spiritual practice.

We are still looking for a Handyman to come and join us. If you know anyone who is practical and feels like a sabatical, do let us know.

Adopt a Room

Adopt a Room

Thanks to your overwhelming generosity we are nearly done with the repainting and refurbishing of all our rooms. We look forward to welcoming you into a refreshed space by the end of December.

We are still looking for some easy chairs and a bar fridge. Also, we would like to swap a rather large wooden desk for a simple table.

Thank you, thank you all!

New Website Launched

We have launched our new website! The new website is easier to extend and will allow us to start adding social media tools like groups and forums in future. For now we're migrating the existing information we had on the old site into the new structure. Thank you to Anton de Wet and his team at Telamenta for all the hard work.

Fundraising Dinner

The Auctioneer and his assistant looking at a beautiful tanka

Our annual fundraising dinner on the 18th of Ocotber 2009 was a huge success. Fresh Earth in Greenside provided us with a beautiful table of abundance to warm us up for the bidding.

Thank you to all those who attended and those who provided us with things to auction off. we made around R20 000.
